IEPS-WDCS- Well Delivery and Configuration Solution
WDCS is an IEPS solution designed to mature and track drilling, work-over
and well delivery projects over their lifecycle. WDCS captures and contextualizes
well information, reports and real-time well logs, and supports decision
making by providing visibility to the status of well projects, well deliverables
and underlying well data and information stores.
The solution correlates well data and daily reports with financial data,
to provide management with clear visibility into high risk capital investments,
and operations with up to-date correlation of commits against AFEs.

Features
- WDCS matures wells through various configurable stages of a maturation
cycle (Plan, Develop, Execute, Operate).
- WDCS includes a comprehensive and configurable data model including
header, location, financials, schedule, resources and other information.
- WLMS captures and contextualizes well header information, well operations
plans, reports and real-time well logs.
- Each well stage includes a Business Information Framework including
workspaces, collaboration and communication tools, and document/data management
systems to carry work-in-progress.
- Toll-gates separate stages and toll-gate reviewers are responsible
for allowing prospects to mature from one stage to the next one. Toll-gates
can be set up to be flexible or with strict criteria and controls
- The solution correlates well data and daily reports with financial
data to allow tracking of and visibility of commits against budgeted items.
- WDCS is configured with a management dashboard for process control,
visibility and easy data access. Traffic light indicators help monitor
status of deliverables, and the overall status of individual wells.
- Contractors use an offline Excel/email facilities to submit updates
for their deliverables on a cyclical or ad hoc basis.
- WDCS provides controls for the Well Manager(s) to approve closure on
the tracking process for individual wells.
- WDCS can be configured with G&G Data Interfaces through OpenSpiritTM,
for viewing underlying well data from disparate sources.
- Related IEPS solutions include Exploration, Appraisal. Exploitation
& Development processes, Project & Program Management offices,
and Field Data Reporting System (FDRS).
