Semantic Data Exchanger - SDE

PointCross Semantic Data Exchanger(SDE) is a semantically enabled smart data exchanger that allows E&P companies to use and re-purpose all data sourced from processes and decision making in business. The EP-DSL manages the capture, conversion, re-purposing and provisioning of all field and business data needed for all E&P activities.

The SDE connects and transforms disparate types of data from drilling, production and geophysical data. It also connects data sources from people and their communications, documents and reports, specifications and drawings, and contracts related to construction of major cap-ex facilities, presentations and proposals.

The EP-DSL together with our Orchestra Ontology Engine provides:

• Technical and semantically enabled search and discovery through data and information

Web-services to internal process in the PPS layer or external applications that need data or information for their functional needs
