Acquisitions & Divestitures Suite
PointCross' A&D solution tracks the lifecycle of asset transactions, concessions and Joint Venture agreements. A&D allows E&P companies to assess, rank and characterize their current portfolio and potential agreements. This enables them to make better decisions, conduct due diligence on deals and financing and improve overall value to ensure they stay aligned with their current strategy. A&D is one of the components of the IEPS stack and it can be installed alone, or with Competitive Intelligence to improve the lifecycle of the transaction.
Benefits
- Systematic stage gated process from opportunity identification to finding or execution
- Dashboards to review transaction status and portfolio views
- Dashboards for geological, risk/unrisked production and reserve estimation, economic analysis
- Skill-pool and social networking to assign roles to the right people
The Acquisitions & Divestitures Suite of Solutions includes:
Competitive Intelligence
Competitive Intelligence allows Competitive Intelligence professionals and business development staff to collect all the data and information from publicly available sources, RSS feeds, and subscription services so they may be summarized, categorized, and republished as bulletins and actionable instructions to those who have a need for that information. It can be used to story board notable events into possible scenarios which can then be used to shape strategy, plan tactics in business development or find new opportunities.
Virtual Data Room
Virtual Data Rooms provide Oil & Gas companies with secure and contextualized collaborative environments for exchange, presentation, communication and transmission of content and data with authorized Joint Venture parties. VDRs are a part of PointCross' web-based JV-in-a-Box suite of solutions, developed for real-time global intercommunication of over 250 data types through presentation rooms, secure email, and automated workflows.
VDRs are used by oil and gas companies when: Selling an asset or property; collaborating with Joint Venture & Business Development partners; engaging with EPC & OFS companies; and reporting to regulatory agencies. All transactions and activity that occur in an VDR are date and time stamped for auditing and historic look back purposes and are hosted in a SAS-70 type II certified environment. Because security of the customer's information is a primary focus of PointCross, penetration tests are conducted on a regular basis by companies such as KPMG. These certifications are available upon request.
A VDR is deployed within a few hours, or as quickly as the data is available. PointCross' VDRs have a user-friendly interface which requires minimal to no training.
