PointCross' IEPS delivered through a SaaS business model: Exploration & Production Solutions and Processes delivered as a Service

HOUSTON, TX, - July 9, 2007: PointCross, Inc. announces the availability of its Integrated Exploration and Production Suite (IEPS) through a “Software as a Service – SaaS” model. IEPS is delivered on PointCross’ multi-tenant SOA enabled platform, Orchestra™, for business mail (qmail ™), interactions, and search of ‘work-in-process’ as a part of the Service.

PointCross has long proven to its customers that they provide unparalleled solutions and processes for complex business and technical decision making workflows in E&P.  This SaaS offering is intended to accelerate deployment and to make it even easier to work with us.  We will continue to rapidly deploy, mass customize, and eliminate the issue of total cost of ownership, or risk, of committing to complex E&P business processes.  The IEPS ‘on-demand’ service is a simple ‘pay for usage’ model.

The IEPS service is hosted on PointCross’ ultra secure facilities at multiple sites worldwide and is available to global enterprises. Arrangements for having preferred partners to host IEPS are available.  Global enterprises use hosted services to work more securely, closely and effectively, as well as to deploy a multi-party environment, with JV partners, contractors and other key stakeholders.

In addition to the Orchestra™ platform, standard IEPS components offered at this time include:

1. Geophysical and seismic data acquisition and daily reporting system
2. Daily geological drilling reporting from well sites
3. Exploration processes
4. Competitive Intelligence solutions
5. HSE governance and audit solution

PointCross’ customers can go-live on these solutions within 2 weeks from the date of order approval.  Additional standard IEPS components can be custom developed.  No specifications are required – all it takes is a simple call and a conversation with our solution specialists.
