Analysis, Control, & Reporting System - ACRS™
ACRS is a general purpose analysis and version control system for a collection
of interlinked tools including Excel workbooks and other applications. ACRS
is currently configured only for a system of Excel workbooks. The combined
system comprising these workbooks form a single tool-set which will be configuration
and version controlled by ACRS.
ACRS works with Orchestra and Solo from PointCross Inc. Orchestra is an
enterprise wide knowledge and information infrastructure that organizes
all business information according to their business context and maintains
the relationships among them. Solo is the personalized companion client
for Orchestra. Solo maintains all the contexts with their related content
for its authorized user. All information contained in Solo is automatically
synchronized with Orchestra. ACRS data, tools and components and their configurations
are also synchronized in the same manner so that other users who use Solo
can share access to the tools, data and resultant outputs and reports.

Features
- All versions of the Excel sheets and workbooks are managed in the background
– User need not save files or re-name them.
User is provided with a running history of all the cases run with the
tool including the data used. The run history is maintained and user can
go back to them at any time.
- Journaling - User is provided with a Journal for each run that is captured.
All assumptions and data used in the run are captured. All standard charts
and tables desired are automatically included in the journals.
- Future feature releases of ACRS:
- Allow for direct access to other data sources within or outside of
Orchestra
- Easy integration of custom or 3rd party tools into the current system
of tools (which only includes Excel)
- Integration of reporting and presentation tools in addition to Excel
– Word, PowerPoint, third party tools, email, workflow triggers.
